Had Junxu sleeping over and waking up early to go to church.Realised that i have an hour to kill, so we decided to finish up on the christmas cards. After that was service, then the exchange of gifts where u see youths going around, hugging each other exchanging greeetings. then, we headed for kaimin's house. played mahjong and talked loads of rubbish there. really enjoyed myself today.

After that went ivan's father came, i felt funny. i felt that one of us is gonna leave us for quite a while. The group will be going without the brain for quite a while. Its really strange but life still goes on and maybe he'll come out with impt lessons for all of us. off for supper now!

hello.

Christmas is coming!! ahh but christmas in singapore is weird, but we have great friends, and God, so it's good! anyway i haven't really had a really great christmas before, hope this year's will be different... maybe the best one i had was when i was in p6, and we did the star wars play thing...

Hey ryan, England ain't that good, USA IS BETTER!!
i like usa not just because it's usa, just because it's america, but because of all the lil' things i see.. i mean i just keep seeing stuff that most pple don't see and it's like so beautiful.. I think only ryan can understand, and i think justin too. I mean like Singapore is good, but it just doesn't feel beautiful, just doesn't feel nice. USA IS LIKE WAHLLAHH!! the trees, grass(it's carpet grass!!), streets, air, how friendly pple are, i like it for the weather too, 4 seasons is absolutely SHAZAMM!! Well, i know pple like Kai min will just say david's likes everything about usa ugly or not, cause he's in love with it. i mean pple look at stuff differently huh, haha and i would probably find something nice that you don't really find nice.. Once again, i think ryan will understand.. haha.. Oh Yes finally i've been to usa, and it's great! Kai min kept calling me a specific organism name, which i think the whole world knows. Oh and i can remember playing cards with kai xin and the other pple there, and we were playing bluff wrongly.. Hahaha!! thinking about it it's damn funny man..... Playing bluff wrongly.. haha.. Oh and kai min's friends are damn funny too..... Anyway, i had really great fun.... Laughed a lot, and yeahhhh... Anyway, I'M GOING OFF AGAIN!!! LIKE WHAT THE hfdsalfhdslajkfhdsalfhsad. i told my dad i don't wanna go malaysia, but he says i have to.. like man i'm quite exhausted after one vacation.. i mean im' not supposed to be but you wouldn't really wanna go out of singapore once you've just came back from usa, especially when the place you're going to is not exactly beautiful, if you knaamean.. Anyway, i must say, every year sure moves faster as before, well maybe it's cause this year is just real hectic cause it's so much studyin.. i just really hope we can all have a great year next year..... yeah. Oh, in the mean time, there are indonesian students staying in my house, and of course my room was not spared and it was used as one of the rooms for them. And today, as i walked into my room, the air was stale, with the smell of indonesian flowers( urgh), and to my horror, i saw that they had used my chair to hang their clothes, my speaker stucked to the wall had crashed onto the floor, they had unceremoniously hung their undergarments on my table, which was really a most disturbing and disconcerting sight, and as i took my clothes ready to leave the room, i found that my door knob had evaporated into thin air!!! LIKE $%#%@$#@!@!&, they come in and all my stuff breaks down, my door knob goes missing, and the alignment of my door to the frame became out of alignment.... OH THE HORROR AND THE TRAUMA!!! but, hhaha of course i'm just exaggerating things, although what i discribed was true, i was of coursed prepared.. i mean every time they come, things just spoils.. what a strange coincidence. Anyway, i just discovered that i've said a whole bunch of crap! Anyway, caleb and junxu!! you should talk about your trip too! and gabriel too!!! yeah.. ivan is leaving us soon.. It feels really quite weird, a bit saddening too... oh well, singapore sux with all the bloody ns. haha right i'm going to take a bath..

heyy ryann great to hear from you at england

Firstly we were ALL watching newcastle-liverpool at minah's house... besides you and gab. we were all trying to guess your reaction to the leeds-chelsea game, haha. oh, and Singapore did have passion before, I mean in the Malaysia Cup days, I specially remember 1994 when we thrashed Pahang 4-0 in the Cup Final... I watched it on TV... 40,000 in the National Stadium all providing the atmosphere. A bit sad to see the S-League now. anyway, my man, make the most of your stay in England... enjoy watching Man U lose first hand...

I'm going to Kuching on the 12th, coming back on the 15th... which leaves Gabriel the only one of the Fellowship left in Singapore, whahaha.

oh, and I'm not that averse to going to Tekong, man... it is a Duty to serve Singapore... I am patriotic! Witness my Singapore flag when I play GunBound...

And lastly, since I've strayed into the topic of Gunbound, let me say i registered my first double-kill today (using J.D, for those interested).

To All and Singular,
Greetings from Basildon.
T’has arguably been the sunniest week of my life.
Let me tell you that England's such a lovely place, and I recommend that we all migrate to where I am before we get all handcuffed to pulau tekong. Sorry, Ivan dawg, I know the time has come for you to go.. we send our heart-felt sympathy and condolences.
I’m in Basildon right now, hope you people are still havin’ great fun in the dreaded sun down there at the equator. I’m enjoyin’ the winter wind over here..no snow though. Anyway, I don’t think I’ll have a fantastic Christmas in London because I feel that there is one unfulfilled criteria that is crucial to a merry Christmas. You see, to me, there are two factors that make up a merry christmas. One, atmosphere, which I certainly have this year. Two, companionship, which I certainly do not have this year. It’s real hard to have both at the same time in Singapore. That’s why Singapore stinks in december.
Knowaamean bruah?
I’ve had truck loads of fun since day one. Ok, I admit I didn’t enjoy EVERY single activity upon arrival..but I do look forward to every single day. My days here are numbered, that’s a sad thing. Well I gotta admit that I’m missing certain beings down at the equator at the moment, namely those whom I had a chat with on the phone at Changi Airport that night.

My favourite day thus far on this escape-from-singapura tour? It has gotta be Match Day. 3:00pm, Elland Road, Home of Leeds United, Leeds United FC vs. Chelsea FC. I almost fainted twice in the space of that 2 hours..ok I’ll tell you more later. Before the game started, I was at the stadium premises watching the Liverpool-Newcastle battle on TV. A few hundreds were there watching with me. Nothing spectacular that. From what I understand..Ivan was at Kaimin’s house viewing that which I was viewing?

Elland Road. Quarter to three, or thereabouts. The Chelsea and Leeds players enter the pitch to warm-up. In all honesty, I almost fainted when I saw the faces of Frank Lampard, Hernan Crespo, Adrian Mutu.. Ah mean, Oh My Goodness, they were standing right in front of my eyes. After a while, yeah, reality sank in, yeah yeah, they are mere human beings after all..made up of flesh and blood and nothing more. What makes them different from us?

Whistle blew, match started. I was thinking about what Caleb and co. would be thinking of..

Bloody Ryan…

Lucky Crabstick…

Eye of a Stingray…

Ladybird of Bahamas…

I apologise for getting to Elland Road before you guys do. But anyway, nothing stopped me from enjoyin’ yet another beautiful 90minutes of football. The second thing that almost made me faint was the crowd. The stadium capacity is puny compared to the Nou Camp or Old Trafford..yet you could feel that passion in the cheers. That eruption of shouts really made your hair stand. Passion. Pure Passion.

That’s why Singapore stinks all year round. No Passion. Absolutely None. The Beautiful Game is about the players and the fans, man; not just the players.

The Leeds fans had very unique cheers. There’s one to scold the referee, and another to scold chelsea. Ok, those are not really cheers..just.. taunts? I remember the latter one very well. It goes like this. *Leeds fans turn to face Chelsea fans* Singing ‘We Hate Chelsea’ I forgot the one for the referee. I remember a little of the main cheer of Leeds, their theme song, that is. Anyway, my camera was acting strangely during the course of the game. I have a feeling that the pictures I took will not turn out. Man, that would be the greatest of all tragedies. I was supporting Leeds anyway. 1-1. What a fantastic scoreline for them. The Leeds fans were pleased. I was pleased. Pennant rocks.

In addition, I visited Anfield, Old Trafford, and I viewed the exterior of Goodison Park from the car.

Bon Voyage, Davida and Kaimina! Treasure your time away from singapura. Bon Voyage to Ivan, in advance.

A lengthy epistle this. Sorry about that.

RETURNS AND GOINGS

Farewell, mission people. May you be blessed as you do God's great work.

Farewell, those America-bound. May you have a chance to ski, and not suffer too many injuries when you do ski. Enjoy yourselves.

Welcome back, Gabby. Hope you had a good time in Australia.

Wah... all of you are so introspective... so deep... so hardworking...

I'm just playing like mad until the inevitable.

heh... watching Newcastle-Liverpool at Kai Min's house was freakin' fun... insulting Bramble... counting the number of times Diouf fell down... and getting excited every time they shoot...

many thx to the Au family.

oh yeah.. also wanted to post this...

was going home with Caleb and Junxu on that day mentioned above... then we went to 7-Eleven to buy drinks at Jelita (Junxu refused to go in case he missed the 61). We searched the shelves for bargains... and came across one for Pepsi, 2 for $2.00. So we grabbed a Energy-Cola bottle each, and i went to pay at the cashier... and the guy charged me $3.

"I thought they were at 2 for $2?" I said.

"No, that offer is only for the cans!" he replied.

What sort of offer is 2 for $2 for a canned drink?

hello. I'm feeling a bit sleepy now. Maybe that's cause i slept too much today. Well i was paying my sleep debt, cause i slept at 7:30am on wednesday, effectively meaning i didn't sleep on wed, and woke up at 9am on thurs, and slept 7 hours the next night, and now, i've woken up from a 12 hour and 20 min sleep. AHH finally my body is functioning again. It's quite sad cause no one else except for me and ivan seems to be blogging, i'll have to ask all of them to blog. Anyway, yesterday was sweet cause lunch at ikea is fantastic. With just like 2-3 good friends, you can have a terrific lunch man.. or dinner.. And on wed night, my graduation night, i noticed that chinese high pple, aren't all like you know, "weird", there's just a small group of pple, who make pple think chinese high is "weird", and the rest are really cool people. Haha.. Yup, that's all for me, and Liverpool shall Reign St' James' Park Tonight!!! BUAHAHAHAHAH!!

-davidlim-

Au Kai Min ah!! Please control your dog from chewing up my sock next time I go to your house... your dog is uncontrollable...
