Game Review
6-3
we lost another game but gained so much more. To God be the Glory!

alright, first of all, we give thanks to our Great God who was always watching over us. he held the rain, gave us clouds to enjoy our game and a bunch of patient souls to help us pick balls after they were blast over the fence. though we lost the match on staurday, thinking back, there are so many things that we can rejoice in. we can rejoice in the fact that we've planted seeds into their hearts. we can rejoice that the fellowship brought a few boys closer to one another. we fielded kester and lawrence in the first half. one as a central midfield, the otehr as a winger, love for the younger boys were exhibited as kaimin ran extra just to cover them and making sure that they dont get pushed around. Ryan, i hope God in His sovereignty put you through an experience you wont want to go through again for a reason. love your enemies is not that easy after all eh? with the strength and gentleness of Christ, let's press on? gabriel my borther, i think u played well. will the constant cramps threatening to break out, you played on bravely. Got tackled badly but you just stand and started smiling. ivan, u played well, sorry for neglecting the defense line. wil do more next time.

alright, all the good things from the game, now's a time for personal reflection. thinking back, i remember our first game against termites(5-0), 2nd against outram(unknown-0).i remember i always go home thinking about how we played how we could have scored a few more goals. always scolding people around me, shouting at them, pressuring them to do something that they're not sure of. well, i feel bad and some of those will brand me as arrogant and bossy. i apologise to all whom are concerned. i believe God can change you if you will your heart to, you got to really submit and surrender. i'll have to humbly admit that i wasnt the best player on the pitch at times but i acted as if i was one. well, i can hear God speaking each time i play football. when you're tired and all you hear is yourself breathing, i can hear the still voice. there was an incident where a player had the ball and he had a clean shot on goal. i ran back and tried to nick the ball away from his feet. i felt i got the ball and our keeper picked it up. so this player fell and and shouted at me raising his hand threatening to slap me. i was sitting there on the pitch looking up at him. i just put on a smile and say i didnt touch you. so i took my time to get up and said a prayer, "Oh god please help me cope" and i heard go shake his hand, and strangely, henry told me go shake his hand. i ran straight up to him and shook his hand. well, if you've been watching me play football, you'l know that i'm not the sort who can take losing easily. i really thank God for showing me that in a match like this, there's an opportunity to be a good testimony to the other 11. winning 11( get the pun?) winning the game is not a must, winning souls is! i praise and thank God because he has helped me cope with the temptation of giving in at exploding at the nearest player. its going to be tough but i believe that i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. so guys remember soccer is not all about results, its about playing to your best for My greatest friend, our no.1 fan, that's the king and creator of the world! never mind if we lose 10 nil, because people will see your reaction as children of God. Thank you Lord, You're so GOOD! :D
