To get the most out of your life, make every moment count for Christ.

I've always desired to make the most out of my life. Thus, to me, every waking moment should be well spent (esp during the A level period). Hence, i sought to keep myself busy so as to make full use of my free time.
The product of your business (busy-ness) and your effort is usually good, usually something positive. However, what is the point of that product if it is not something God has desired for? It sorta ties in with Mark 8:36 -- What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
Thus, i feel that in everything that i do, i should seek guidance from God, ask him for his grace and blessings (God willing), and thank Him.

Humility is not thinking you're good and acting like you're not.
Humility is not thinking you're lousy and thus act like you're lousy when you're actually good. (Low self-esteem)
Humility is when you acknowledge that you're good because of God's grace and blessings, and when you give him all the glory. Thus, you have nothing to boast about because everything that you have is God given.
eg. Jesus, who being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God.... He humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even on the cross..... to the glory of God the Father. [Phil 2:6-11]
ha, something i took away from today's daily bread. just felt like noting it down, since i was infront of the computer. don't know if this is applicable to anyone though.
